Quality control

We have to keep to the usual food-safety regulations: things that need to be kept cool go in cold bags, for example. Producers need to keep to the regs, too, and most of them have to have insurance.

The people who pack the boxes – mostly volunteers – keep an eye on what’s going out, and ask themselves: would I be OK with this?

If you’re not happy with what’s in your box, let us know. We will usually refund you, and we’ll let you know what happens if we contact the producer and raise “issues”. Or, of course, you can contact the producer yourself, too. Once you’re a customer, you’re part of the system.
